A Cherry-Flower Idyll
A young poet, weary of trying to make verses that please, walks up to a hillside cherry grove at dusk and sits until the blossoms, the bell and the rising dark teach him that a single flower rightly seen holds all of spring, and that the poem he had been chasing was waiting quietly in his own stillness.
