The Bridge of Joy Birds
On opposite banks of the Silver River, a patient weaver and a gentle herdsman spend a long year apart, tending their ordinary days with care, until the magpies gather on the seventh evening of the seventh moon and lift them a bridge of wings, and in one unhurried night together they discover that a moment need not repeat in order to be whole.
