The Ember and the Wheel of Fire

In a misty forest glade at first light, two young hares squabbling over fallen apples are met by the gentle Old One of the Grove, who shows them a whirling ember that draws a great wheel of fire in the dark, a blaze that is not there at all, and teaches them, without scolding, that a small heat spun by anger only seems enormous, while the same warmth carried kindly keeps a heart clear and unburnt.
