The Empty Boat on the Glass Lake

Late at night, a woman lies awake worrying that she has accidentally left a small trace of herself on an old photograph, and in the blue glow of her phone she remembers an old story about a drifting boat, and discovers that the offense, and the worry, were never in the boat at all.
